Setting the record straight, I cannot take any credit for the beauty that Narcissa possesses. There's no need to "improve" perfection, nor "fix" what isn't "broken". There are some girls at this school, on the other hand, that should consider learning a few tips and tricks in the charms department. Or, perhaps, invest in a better mirror. I'm sure that even I could, in fact, give them hints that would improve upon their looks, if I should find it in my heart the generosity to do so. After all, I do have eyes and the ability to tell when something looks good or not.

I'm feeling rather bored at the moment. Someone entertain me.
No, wait, let me rephrase that. Someone who has a sense of maturity and knows how to act properly entertain me. I do not need the antics of fools. Perhaps the Gryffindor House should just ignore this entry and its entirety and move on about their nonsensical business.

To those, like I, suffering through our monstrous Ancient Runes assignment: is there anyone else who is nearly finished? I'd like to get together and go over a few things so I can copy I know that I'm on the right page before finishing this up and submitting it tomorrow only to discover I did it incorrectly. Perhaps after Lunch today, we can all meet in the library to go over things. No sense in suffering alone. The more people there the more people I can copy their ideas the better!

Salazar on a stick! I just discovered how to change the colour of my journal! I don't know how I would have SURVIVED without knowing such things! I'd have had to carry around a journal that DIDNT COORDINATE WITH MY SHOES. My life would have been ruined in CLASHING MISERY. Thank GOODNESS I came to Hogwarts and learned such COMPLEX charms.
Now that I've got that out of my system and have sufficiently followed the latest trend in talking about the importance of colour coordinating one's journal, can we move on to talk about something more important?
Me.
Not that it should be a surprise to anyone, but I will, indeed, be playing for Slytherin again this year. Congratulations to the rest of you that have made a team, but if you aren't on the Slytherin team? Be prepared to cry your hearts out when we beat you!

Hm. I suppose it is a bit over due that I should write in my journal. Apparently our esteemed professors and administration here believe that a network of journals is the perfect method of communication to foster world peace or some rubbish. Unfortunately, I do not believe that having a journal that will allow me to read the asinine ramblings of lunatic lions will help me feel any closer to the lot of them. I shall try, but the notion that we ought to "unite" is a bit foolish: if unity was important why do they start us off, our very first day at Hogwarts, by separating us by differences? I can hardly blame the other houses for harboring jealousy toward the Slytherin house, considering, of course, the fact that our house is certainly the best to be a part of (Andromeda's much more eloquent on the charms of Slytherin than I, I apologise). Regardless, despite the good intentions that our administration might have, it is my prediction that these journals have more of a chance of becoming a tool for bickering amongst houses, dividing us further, than they do to become a catalyst for unity.
After all, not everyone was raised with proper trainings on being civil and courteous, some might as well have been raised by monkeys filthy mudbloods.
